Day Three
Well, day three isn't over yet but there really hasn't been much going on. We didn't have a show today so everyone got to sleep in! (Except Mrs. Wooley who got up early and ate breakfast with her aunt Phyllis.) The boys got up around nine thirty and went down to eat the amazing breakfast here at the hotel, but us girls slept in too late and missed it. So instead we had tuna sandwiches, lemon honey tea, and miscellaneous items from the downstairs vending machine. After we ate, Emily and I went and soaked in the jacuzzi while the boys did some homework. When we were done, we went into the boy's room to find JE looking up his ancestry. There was a bit of drama today when Emily borrowed the boy's peanut butter and jelly and used the same knife to scoop out both the peanut butter AND the jelly. Reed had to dig out all of the peanut butter chucks that had fallen into the jelly and he was not a happy camper. All is well now, though, as Emily and Reed are hanging in the girl's room doing homework, and JE and I are hanging in the boy's room blogging and reading. In about fifteen minutes, we will be heading to Storybook Land, and then tonight dining at a fancy shmancy restaurant. Tomorrow, we head out early to Rapid City (a journey consisting of a little more than five hours in the van) and then the perform the show at night. On an ending note, I leave you with today's philosophical question: If you were looking up your ancestry one day and realized that your significant other was very distantly related to you, would you continue to date them? Until tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteWhere it says "Comment as:".......select profile...
Pick Name/URL and put only the name in, but not the URL.
That will work.
Your question is a real quandary! I'm really not sure I could continue to date a relative :(
